How to Make a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Maleindependent Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You are welcome to contact us about:
- Your experience when you phoned or contacted Maleindependent Plumbing
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a plumber we connected you with
When the Issue Is With a Provider
Plumbers in our network run their own businesses. They are responsible for their estimates, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly and keep a written record.
Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed from it. Keep in mind that Maleindependent Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@maleindependent.living and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the plumber
- The phone number you dialed or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We acknowledge complaints by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may include getting in touch with the provider. Finally, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about plumbing work itself, a state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
